Within the scope of the 11th Rio Symposium are all aspects of atomic spectrometry and inorganic mass spectrometry, including sample preparation, sample handling and speciation analysis. The scientific program consists of invited lectures, oral and poster presentations.
Among the major topics are: • Atomic absorption spectrometry • Atomic fluorescence spectrometry • Optical emission spectrometry • ICP-MS • Chemical vapor generation • Instrumental developments • Electrothermal atomization • Electrothermal vaporization • Laser ablation • X-ray fluorescence spectrometry • Sample preparation techniques • Sample handling techniques • Quality assurance and quality control • Chemometrics in atomic spectrometry |
The most famous scientists active in the field of Atomic Spectrometry have been invited to present their latest research during the 11th Rio Symposium, and many of them have already accepted the invitation. A list of the Invited Speakers and the topics of their presentations will be published on this web page as soon as we have got the final confirmation. Invited lectures will be 25 min long with an additional 5 min for discussion. |
Selected topics from the submitted titles will be chosen for oral presentation (15 min long with an additional 5 min for discussion). |
Posters will get special attention during the 11th Rio Symposium on Atomic Spectrometry as a means of presenting the latest research results, and to offer time for extensive discussion. All Posters have to be prepared in English language following IUPAC Terminology Recommendations. Each participant will be able to present 2 (two) posters at the most. The posters are 90 cm wide and 120 cm high.
LabCiencia is offering three prices for the best posters. More information click here. |
